Configure workspace settings

Workspace Settings controls behavior shared by everyone in the current workspace. You need Manage Settings access to open and change this page.

When you change a setting, an unsaved-changes bar appears. Select Save to apply all pending sections or Discard to restore the last saved values.

Change Name to update the workspace name shown throughout Doublewire, including the workspace menu. The name can contain up to 255 characters.

When white-label branding is available for the workspace, choose one of:

  • Doublewire branding to show the standard attribution;
  • Custom branding to show your brand name and link;
  • No branding to remove footer attribution from the widget.

Custom branding accepts a brand name of up to 80 characters and a public website URL. Availability depends on the current subscription.

Only the workspace Owner can change the workspace two-factor policy. When Require two-factor authentication for all members is enabled, members who have not enrolled are asked to set it up the next time they sign in.

Members manage their own authenticator and recovery codes from Profile. The workspace setting creates the requirement but does not configure another person’s authenticator.

Use the Channels section to control two defaults:

  • Auto-create web channel for new assistants: each new assistant receives a Web Widget channel automatically. Turn it off if you want to create and connect channels manually.
  • Assign manual replies to the sender: when a member replies to an unassigned Inbox thread, that member becomes its assignee.

Changing either setting affects future actions. It does not remove existing channels or change existing assignments.

Inbox Workflow has separate rules for member actions and automatic system actions.

For a member closing a thread, choose:

  • Prevent closing
  • Ask for confirmation
  • Allow closing

For an automatic close attempt, choose Prevent closing or Allow closing. These rules apply whether a member closes one thread or uses a bulk action.

Choose how long Doublewire keeps unconfirmed email and phone suggestions captured from conversations: 7, 14, 30, 60, 90, 180, or 365 days.

This cleanup affects only pending suggestions. Contact details that a member has confirmed are not removed by this setting.

If the workspace includes Orchestrator, choose how many days completed decisions remain in the active view before they are archived. Applied, reviewed, dismissed, and reverted decisions can be archived. Pending decisions are never auto-archived.
