Create and manage events
Create an event
Section titled “Create an event”- Open Calendar and select New event.
- Choose a calendar.
- Enter the title and schedule.
- Add optional details such as a location, description, attendees, availability, recurrence, and event reminders.
- Save the event.
Choose the correct timezone when the event is not in your usual timezone. All-day events use dates rather than a start and end time.
Edit or delete an event
Section titled “Edit or delete an event”Open the event and use the available edit or delete action. For a repeating event, Doublewire asks whether your action applies to the occurrence or the series when that distinction is available.
Repeat an event
Section titled “Repeat an event”Choose a supported repeat pattern and, when needed, an end date or occurrence limit. A connected external calendar may not support every possible pattern. If the meaning cannot be preserved, Doublewire reports a sync issue instead of silently changing the schedule.
Invite workspace members
Section titled “Invite workspace members”Add eligible workspace members as attendees. Invitations and later updates appear in Doublewire. Attendees can respond according to their event access.
External email guests require a synchronized Google or Microsoft calendar. The connected provider sends those invitations, updates, cancellations, and responses.
Respond to an invitation
Section titled “Respond to an invitation”Open the event and choose the available response. A response is sent to the external provider only when the connected account can validly respond for your workspace email address. Otherwise, Doublewire keeps the response in the workspace without answering on another account’s behalf.
