Build and translate a form
Configure form details
Section titled “Configure form details”- Name is the private label used by your team.
- Public Title is the visitor-facing heading.
- Description appears above the fields.
- Success Message appears after submission.
- Active controls whether assistants and widgets can show the form.
- Require reference ID limits the form to an item context, such as a property, product, vehicle, or booking.
When a reference is required, the assistant shows the form only after the page or a verified lookup supplies that reference.
Add fields
Section titled “Add fields”Select Add Field, then configure the field type, ID, label, placeholder, required state, and options where applicable. Available types include text, email, phone, number, long text, dropdown, radio buttons, single and multiple checkboxes, and date.
The Field ID identifies the field in saved submissions and integrations. Keep it unchanged after an integration depends on it.
Save to Contact Details
Section titled “Save to Contact Details”Optionally map a field explicitly to the contact’s name, email, or phone. Use this only when the field asks for that exact detail. Doublewire does not infer the mapping from the label or field type, and does not overwrite an existing confirmed detail with a new submission.
Add language overrides
Section titled “Add language overrides”Add a language and fill only the public title, description, success message, field label, placeholder, or option text that should differ. Empty override values fall back to the form defaults.
Use live preview
Section titled “Use live preview”The preview updates as you edit. Review field order, required markers, placeholders, choices, visitor copy, and language before saving. Preview submissions stay local unless you explicitly enable integration routing for them.
