Secure your account and connected sign-in
Profile provides two independent security tools: connected sign-in accounts and two-factor authentication.
Connect Google
Section titled “Connect Google”In Connected accounts, select Connect beside Google and complete the Google authorization flow. Once connected, you can use Google to sign in to the same Doublewire account.
The panel shows whether Google is connected and, when available, when it was last used.
Disconnect Google
Section titled “Disconnect Google”Select Disconnect and confirm. Doublewire prevents disconnection when Google is your only sign-in method. Set a password first, then return to disconnect it.
Disconnecting Google removes that sign-in method. It does not delete your Doublewire account or disconnect a separate Google Calendar integration.
Enable two-factor authentication
Section titled “Enable two-factor authentication”- Select Enable in the Two-factor authentication panel.
- Confirm your current password.
- Add the setup key to a compatible authenticator app.
- Enter the verification code shown by the app.
- Save the recovery codes displayed by Doublewire.
After enrollment, you enter an authenticator code each time you sign in.
Use recovery codes
Section titled “Use recovery codes”Recovery codes let you sign in when the authenticator app is unavailable. Store them somewhere secure and separate from the device that holds the authenticator.
Each recovery code is for emergency account access. If you regenerate the set, save the new codes and stop using the previous set.
Regenerate or disable two-factor authentication
Section titled “Regenerate or disable two-factor authentication”Use Regenerate recovery codes when codes may have been exposed or you no longer have the saved set. You must confirm with a current authenticator code or recovery code.
You can disable two-factor authentication only when the workspace security policy does not require it. Disabling also requires a current verification code.
