Synchronize calendars and use reminders

When Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook synchronization is available:

  1. Open Calendars and edit the Doublewire calendar.
  2. Open Synchronization.
  3. Connect your provider account.
  4. Choose a provider calendar you can edit.
  5. Save.

The provider connection belongs to the person who signed in. It can be reused for that person’s other eligible Doublewire calendars, but not by another workspace member.

The first synchronization imports existing events. Later changes normally move in both directions. Use Sync now when you want a full recovery check.

If the same event field changed differently in both places, Doublewire does not silently overwrite either version. Open the synchronization section, review the conflict, and choose which value to keep. Changes to different fields can be combined automatically.

Stop sync keeps the existing events on both sides and leaves the provider account available for other calendars. Reconnect if authorization expires.

  • Event reminders are defaults selected by someone who can edit the event.
  • My reminders are private to you and do not alter another attendee’s choices.

To change your reminders, open an event where you are an attendee and choose Use event reminders, Custom reminders, or Off. Custom reminders allow up to five delivery times.

Reminder delivery can use the notification panel, browser push, or email, depending on your choices under Profile > Notification preferences.

Open an unread reminder in the notification panel, select its clock, and choose an available delay. Snooze is unavailable after the event starts, after the reminder is read, or after you lose access to the event.
