Filter and export Analytics

Filters help you answer a focused question without changing the underlying data. Exports let you continue the analysis outside Doublewire.

Apply filters

1. Open the Analytics tab you want to review.
2. Choose a preset period or select Custom and enter both dates.
3. Choose an assistant, when that filter is available.
4. On Audience, select one or more channels instead.

The selected filters apply to every metric on the current tab. Each tab keeps the same period controls, but its metrics reflect the purpose of that tab.

Understand access-limited results

Analytics follows your workspace permissions and resource access. If your account is limited to selected channels or assistants:

• selectors contain only resources you can access;
• totals are calculated only from the data available to you;
• direct attempts to use an unavailable resource filter are ignored.

This means two workspace members can legitimately see different totals for the same period.

Export a report

If your access includes Analytics export, select Export beside the filters. Doublewire downloads a CSV file for the current tab using the current period and resource filters.

Each tab exports the information relevant to that report. For example, Pipeline includes funnel and channel results, while Economics includes cost and budget data.

If Export is not visible, your access allows viewing Analytics but not downloading it. A workspace owner can change this from Members.

Deleted assistants and other historical items

Analytics describes activity that happened in the past. Deleting an assistant or another source item does not rewrite that historical fact. Where a report still needs to identify the source, Doublewire uses its saved historical label and marks it as deleted.

You cannot open a deleted item, but its previous activity can still be part of totals and exports for the selected period.

Compare periods consistently

For a useful comparison:

• keep the same assistant or channel scope;
• compare periods of equal length;
• remember that a custom period follows your profile timezone;
• separate production changes from preview testing when reviewing cost.
