Manage people, status, subject, and tags
Assign an owner
Section titled “Assign an owner”In People, search for a workspace member and select them as the assignee. A conversation has one active assignee. Depending on access, Doublewire may ask you to confirm a conversation-only access grant before completing the assignment.
Add collaborators
Section titled “Add collaborators”Use the collaborator field to add other eligible members. People already on the conversation do not appear again in search. Restricted users cannot use assignment to expose a conversation to someone who is not eligible to see it.
Edit the subject
Section titled “Edit the subject”If you have edit access, select the pencil beside the subject. Enter saves the draft, Escape cancels it, and selecting elsewhere also saves. You can clear the subject when it is no longer useful.
If the subject changes elsewhere while you are typing, Doublewire preserves your draft and prevents a silent overwrite.
Change workflow status
Section titled “Change workflow status”Set the conversation to:
- Open when it needs normal attention;
- Waiting when you are waiting for the contact or another follow-up;
- Closed when the work is complete.
The workspace closing policy may block closing, request confirmation, or allow it immediately when linked tasks are unfinished. New customer activity reopens a Waiting or Closed conversation.
Apply tags
Section titled “Apply tags”Search the approved tag catalog and select a tag to add it. Remove a tag from its chip. Tags save automatically, and free text does not create a new tag.
